AnnMarie Gardens

The gardens were amazing. I had never been to an outdoor art gallery before in my life. Usually you have to be in a musuem to see such interesting scuplures. However they have a connection with the Smithsonian, and get alot of interested works that are weather resistant. Because of this I got to walk around a large path a see a number of interesting works. Plus the weather was amazing and the spring flowers were blooming, so I got to see alot of interesting art, plus a beautiful walk in nature at the same time. The most interesting peice was a walkway that lead to overlook a large red sculpture. The walkway was twisted and had writing on it. The writing was supposed to fade over the years to show wear and tear of time. New writings will be written and someday forgotten. It was a very provocitive peice that could only exist outside. I highly recommend everyone go see it, if they get a chance. Below is a picture of fountain as you come into the gardens.
